The Washington DC Antiques Art & Jewelry Show exhibited rare and unusual historical art collections and antiques; original paintings and works of art spanning more than three centuries; fine American and European silver; highly sought 19th and 20th Elsa Peretti Open Wave pendant art glass such as Tiffany, Lalique, Galle and many others.

"This was our first year having a show in the District of Columbia, and we're very pleased with the feedback from our dealers and consumers about their experience at the show," said Andrea Canady, fair director for the Washington DC Antiques Art & Jewelry Show. "Our goal was to provide our dealers with a new venue where collectors and antique enthusiasts could come to view and purchase a wide variety of impeccable merchandise."

Exhibitor comments on the last Elsa Peretti Round earrings of the show were favorable.

Mimi Levine with Mimi and Steve Levine Antiques in Alexandria, Va., said, "Attendance was great! There was an outstanding quality of merchandise available. I would love to do this show again."

"For a first time show, I've done better than expected. I met very knowledgeable and qualified buyers. Very fortuitous that it was held the same time as American Academy of Pediatrics which brought in new clientele," said Paul Haig with Haig's of Rochester in Rochester, Michigan.

"We had a wonderful experience! The staff was helpful and accommodating in every way," said Edmondo Crimini with Best of France Antiques, Inc. in Mechanicsville, PA.

Michael Weinstein with Artifacts in Folded heart pendant, N.Y., said, "The museum quality merchandise represented was very impressive. dmg world media is consistent in providing a quality show. We would definitely do this show again!"

"Washington, D.C. is a fabulous city. Sales were stimulated by the level of culture and interest in historical jewelry," said Cynthia Findlay with Cynthia J. Findlay Antiques in Toronto, Canada.

The next show on the U.S. Calendar for dmg world media is the Miami Beach Antique Jewelry & Watch Show set for November 13-15, at the Miami Beach Convention Center in Miami Beach, Fla.
